We Are Moving!
City Hall and headquarters for the fire and police departments will move to East Curtis Street in November.
Simpsonville, S.C. — Simpsonville's city hall, police department and fire department headquarters will start serving the public in the newly built Municipal Complex on East Curtis Street on Nov. 5.
The last day that officials will hold city hall operations in its current location at 118 N.E. Main St. will be Oct. 31, after which city hall operations will pause on Nov. 1 and Nov. 4 to allow for the transition to the new location and address of 425 E. Curtis St. The Simpsonville Police Department is also moving into the Municipal Complex at 415 E. Curtis St.
The Simpsonville Fire Department headquarters and Fire Station 1 are moving into a separate building on Municipal Complex grounds at 455 E. Curtis St. Emergency and essential public safety operations will not pause during the transition.
Simpsonville City Council will hold their first business meeting on the westside of the Municipal Complex in Council Chambers—or "The Ellipse," on Nov. 12. The last City Council meeting to be held in Council Chambers at North East Main Street will be the Committee of the Whole meeting on Oct. 22.
Simpsonville Municipal Court operations will remain at 118 N.E. Main St. for the duration of November before moving in the first week of December to the new Greenville County court building at 445 E. Curtis St., which will house Simpsonville municipal court and Fairview-Austin and South Greenville summary courts.
While Simpsonville Municipal Court operations will move to 445 E. Curtis St. in early December, court sessions will be held at 118 N.E. Main St. until Dec. 18.
