City Council Meeting Dates

The final City Council meeting of 2024 will be the regularly scheduled business meeting on Dec. 10th at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers on the first floor of the City Hall/PD complex at 425 E. Curtis St.

2025 City Council Business Meeting Schedule 

Simpsonville City Council holds a business meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers in the Ellipse at 425 E. Curtis St. on the first floor (unless otherwise noted); the date, time and place of a business meeting can change. Actions such as votes at business meetings are binding. Any member of the public who is a resident or owns a business in Simpsonville city limits may speak for up to three minutes during the Citizen Comments portion of each agenda as long as they sign up to speak in Council Chambers no later than 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting, which is usually 5:50 p.m. See the below dates for the Simpsonville City Council business meeting schedule of 2024. 2025 City Council Committee of the Whole Schedule

Simpsonville City Council holds a Committee of the Whole meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers in the Ellipse at 425 E. Curtis St. on the first floor (unless otherwise noted); the date, time and place of a Committee of the Whole meeting can change. Committee of the Whole meetings are like workshop sessions for City Council. Actions such as votes at Committee of the Whole meetings determine whether an agenda item (e.g. an ordinance or resolution) is placed on the agenda for the following business meeting during which binding action can be taken.
