2040 Comprehensive Plan
As development in and around Simpsonville continues, it is important for the City to take advantage of the opportunities that accompany this growth while managing the challenges that are associated with it. The City's Comprehensive Plan is to ensure the appropriate balance and location of land uses while managing impacts to the environment, transportation system, public services, and existing development.
The draft Simpsonville 2040 Comprehensive Plan will be going before the Planning Commission and City Council on the following dates:
- Planning Commission
- November 4th, 2020
- Unanimously recommend approval
- November 4th, 2020
- City Council
- October 27th, 2020 (Committee of the Whole)
- Unanimously voted to move the item to the Nov. 10th business meeting
- November 10th, 2020 (First Reading of Ordinance, Business Meeting)
- Unanimously Voted for Approval
- December 8th, 2020 (Second Reading of Ordinance, Business Meeting)
- Unanimously Voted for Approval
- October 27th, 2020 (Committee of the Whole)
