Business Licenses
Welcome to the City of Simpsonville online portal for business licenses! The portal will allow you to renew a business license or apply for a new business license completely online in 3 easy steps.
(Food truck owners/operators should refer to the Food Truck Vendor Guide under Supporting Documents below)
For assistance, reference "Instructions for Business License" below under Supporting Documents
New Business Licenses:
Visit the link "Portal - New Business Licenses" below. Once in the portal, select the "New Account" tab at the top right-hand corner of your screen. Follow the portal directions that will guide you through all the steps to complete your application.

Renewal Business Licenses:
Visit the link "Portal - Renewal Business Licenses" below. Once in the portal, input your Application ID and follow the instructions as prompted.

Once your online application has been submitted, our team will process your license/renewal and generate an invoice that can be paid by check, cash or credit card.
Please note that applying for or renewing business licenses by mail is no longer accepted
All licenses expire annually on April 30th and are considered past due on May 2nd.
If your business has moved to a new location within the City, changed ownership or closed, please contact Ron Johnson at rjohnson@simpsonville.com with your Application ID and any updated information.
