Community Relations
The mission of Simpsonville Community Relations is to strengthen connections between the community and City of Simpsonville through outreach, advocacy and communication. In addition to overseeing media relations, the Simpsonville Community Relations Specialist oversees communications and public relations to inform community members and reflect the growing brand of the City of Simpsonville: "Simply Home." The Community Relations Specialist, who works out of City Hall, uses, creates and manages programming and events to engage the public and foster togetherness. Making Simpsonville feel "Simply Home" for all is the guiding policy for Simpsonville Community Relations Specialist Justin Campbell, who describes his position as "an ambassador on behalf of the City and advocate for the community."
