The public is invited on Dec. 7, 2024 Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day to the dedication ceremony of a relic of the USS Arizona in memory of Simpsonville native Broaddus West, who gave his life for his country in the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. The ceremony will take place at 425 E. Curtis St. on the second floor. Parking is available between the Municipal Complex grounds and Gracely Park and the Simpsonville First Baptist Church overflow parking lot.
