Mayor Shewmaker reads Constitution Week proclamation

Simpsonville, S.C. — Mayor Paul Shewmaker has signed and issued a City of Simpsonville proclamation declaring the time period Sept. 17, 2023 to Sept. 23, 2023 as Constitution Week.

"We ask our citizens to reaffirm the ideals the Framers of the Constitution had in 1787 by vigilantly protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us through this guardian of our liberties," the proclamation reads.
