Farmers Market runs May through October 1
City Hall new location of Farmers Market
(Immediate release: May 2, 2022)
Simpsonville, S.C. — With a new location at Simpsonville City Hall, the Simpsonville Farmers Market season is in full swing.
Moved from City Park to the City Hall parking lot in anticipation of construction at the park this summer, the Farmers Market features nearly 50 vendors with a 2:1 ratio of farmers and food vendors to crafts. Products include vegetables, berries, peaches, grass-fed meats, local cheeses, baked goods, fresh breads, mushrooms and microgreens, garlic, local honey, pet treats, gluten free goodies, local fresh flowers, chocolate delights, boiled peanuts, BBQ must-haves, elderberry, seed-to-bottle local CBD and fabulous crafts. Attendees can grab a coffee or lemonade and have a delicious scone, cinnamon roll or funnel cake for breakfast while they shop.
The City Hall parking lot along Hedge Street will be closed to all vehicles except vendors on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Public parking for the Farmers Market is available in the adjacent parking lot of the former Sun Trust building, First Baptist Simpsonville, adjacent parking lot of Secured Advantage, gravel parking lot at the corner of West Curtis and North Maple streets and downtown.
Access points by foot for the Farmers Market are North East Main and Hedge streets with College and Curtis streets connecting to Hedge.
The Simpsonville Farmers Market will run every Saturday at 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. from May 7 to Oct. 1. Follow the Simpsonville Farmers Market Facebook page for real-time updates on the Market.
