4th Annual Simpsonville Tree Lighting Ceremony
City Hall to host lighting of 22.5-foot Christmas Tree
Simpsonville, S.C. — The City of Simpsonville will host the 4th Annual Simpsonville Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 1 at 6-6:30 p.m. on the front lawn of City Hall.
Started in 2019, the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is a great way to kick off the holidays by coming together as a community to witness the lighting of the 22.5 foot City of Simpsonville Christmas Tree. Also featured at the event will be the "Christmas Carol Sing-Along Medley," reading from the Book of Luke, "Letters to Santa" station and hot chocolate and cookies.
Community Relations Specialist Justin Campbell said the Annual Simpsonville Tree Lighting Ceremony is a City Hall favorite.
"The tree lighting ceremony really sets the mood to get into the holiday spirit," Campbell said. "We hope to see the most attendees at the event this year that there have ever been."
To ensure the safety of ceremony attendees, North East Main Street will be closed from College to Curtis streets at 5:45-6:30 p.m.
