Sewer Rehabilitation

The City of Simpsonville has received a grant from FEMA for assistance in upgrading 7 sanitary sewer aerial creek crossings.  These improvements are designed to reduce the potential for significant damage during a flood event which might disrupt sewer service to residences, schools, hospital, police and fire and businesses as well as do damage to the environment.  Four of these crossings have been upgraded to date.
