Heritage Park Railway Reopens Saturday
Calendar Date:
Replica locomotive back on track for families to enjoy
Simpsonville, S.C. — Kids and families will be able to enjoy the replica locomotive train in Simpsonville once again Saturday.
Heritage Park Railway reopens May 30 at 10 a.m. after having been temporarily closed in April to help prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019. Parks & Recreation Director Robbie Davis said staff cannot wait to reopen the Railway.
"Heritage Park Railway is enjoyed by kids and families across the Upstate and beyond," Davis said. "We're happy to be able to get back on track and have the train fully operational."
The public is encouraged to follow guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and asked to follow any instructions provided by staff.
Admission is $2 per person, and kids under 2 years old ride for free. Heritage Park Railway will be open Saturdays 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sundays 1-6 p.m.
