Police Department
The Simpsonville Police Department, since its establishment in 1907, has been committed to building relationships with community members while providing the highest level of service to keep our citizens safe.
The Simpsonville Police Department is represented by more than 40 sworn law enforcement officers and civilian support staff under the direction of Chief Michael D. Hanshaw. The City of Simpsonville is located in the upstate of South Carolina within Greenville County.
Simpsonville Police Department takes great pride in building partnerships with community members to make the City of Simpsonville a great place to live and visit for all. Our department's motto is "Making a Difference." This motto embodies the philosophy of the men and women serving this community to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Simpsonville.
