Permitting made easier with online portal
View the new portal at the following link: Permits Portal
Simpsonville, S.C. — To streamline permitting, the City of Simpsonville has included the permitting process in its new online portal system.
Instead of having to find and fill out multiple individual forms, applicants can create an account in the portal and have all they need to apply for permits at their fingertips. Applicants are able to apply for and search permits, view their own permits, pay any fees online and schedule cancel inspections.
Community relations specialist Justin Campbell said the online portal makes the permitting process more efficient for both the public and City Hall.
"The City has invested in the online portal to make applying for permits and scheduling inspections easier," Campbell said. "Our finance department is excited about the positive impact that the portal will have on business, construction and other projects in the City."
City Hall streamlined business licensing in the spring with the same online portal.
Any questions about permitting and the portal should be directed to permits@simpsonville.com.
