The Simpsonville Parks and Recreation Department offers many activities* for senior adults like:
- Line Dancing
- Canasta
- Bible Study
- Duplicate Bridge
- Exercise Classes
- Tai Chi
- Mah Jongg
- Poker
- Field trips to area restaurants and events
- Indoor Walking
- Pickleball
- Billards leagues and tournaments year round
Most of these activities are conveniently located at the Simpsonville Activity & Senior Center at 310 W. Curtis Street in Simpsonville. If you just want to spend time with some new characters, a seniors-only lounge area with a television, pool tables and exercise equipment is available too. Stay connected and have fun! Some activities do require participants to sign-up in advance. Please review the calendar for more information about specific activities.
The facility includes:
- Two gyms available for rent (Woodside Gym holds up to 300; City Gym holds up to 700. Special configurations available - contact us to find out more!)
- Daily activities and events for Senior Citizens
- Exclusive "Seniors Only" area with pool tables, lounge and exercise equipment
- Palmetto Room available for rent (75-person capacity)

- Magnolia Pavaillion (up to 100), Dogwood Gazebo (up to 30) and individual picnic shelters(Azalea, Birch, Cedar) all available for rent.
