More than 400 attend Toy Story 4 showing

Simpsonville, S.C. — The Simpsonville Parks & Recreation Department hosted another successful night of Movies in the Park on Thursday when 406 people attended a free showing of Toy Story 4.

Families spread out on the lawn of CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park Thursday evening in outlined seating areas created by Parks & Rec staff to promote social distancing. With an attendance of 631 people for Frozen II in June, more than 1,000 people have been able to enjoy free family-friendly outdoor fun during a time when indoor and even other outdoor events have been canceled in response to rising cases of the Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019.

Movies in the Park will continue on Aug. 4 with a free showing of Playing with Fire
