Administration - COVID-19

Policy on COVID-19

The City of Simpsonville is taking seriously Coronavirus Disease 2019, which the World Health Organization has named a global pandemic. While proactive measures like temporarily suspending senior programming at the Activity & Senior Center, canceling events and implementing social distancing measures may be temporarily inconvenient, the City of Simpsonville's top priority is the well-being of the public, especially our most vulnerable. All decisions by City leadership are made with that top priority in mind. The City is phasing in the resumption of government operations while COVID-19 continues to be a public health concern for the S.C. Department of Health & Environmental Control and the Centers for Disease Prevention & Control. City leadership regularly reassesses conditions to ensure the City can return to as much normalcy as possible without endangering public health.
