Committee of the Whole meets Sept. 22nd
Council to take up development agreement
Simpsonville, S.C. — Simpsonville City Council will hold a Committee of the Whole meeting via an online meeting service on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will be live streamed via the City of Simpsonville YouTube Channel, to which users can subscribe to get real-time reminders to watch the meeting.
Council will hear staff reports from the Finance Department, Community Relations, Planning & Economic Development Department and City Administrator Dianna Gracely.
In addition to the regular staff reports, Council will also address a revised draft of the Cotton Mill Innovative Development Agreement presented by the Planning & Economic Development Department. Council would have to adopt Ordinance 2020-05 by a majority vote to approve the revised agreement.
Anyone who is a resident or owns a business inside Simpsonville city limits may participate in the Citizen Comments portion of the meeting by leaving a voice message no longer than 3 minutes on Mayor Paul Shewmaker's office phone at 864-967-5400. Callers must state their name and address at the beginning of the message and refrain from profane language. All qualifying messages will be played as the meeting is being live streamed.
